Our team consists of a number of GPs as well as a registered nurse. We are able to provide a number of minor surgical procedures and diagnostic checks. After hours services are available if needed.

Skin Cancer Management, Minor Procedures & Other Testing

We are dedicated to the early detection and prevention of skin cancer. Our Doctors have many years of experience in skin cancer screening and offer a comprehensive skin check. Our GP’s can also manage most skin cancer conditions, wound repair, and minor suturing. We are also able to perform ECG’s, Respiratory Function testing and INR testing.

As a long standing member of the local community Tuncurry Medical Centre has strong relationships with Forster Private Hospital, local nursing homes, travelling and local specialists, community health, local allied health professionals such as Dieticians, Psychologists and Occupational

Therapists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, and Exercise Physiologists.

Our Doctors regularly admit private and public patients to Forster Private Hospital and provide ongoing medical care to those patients whilst in hospital. Our Doctors also provide a regular service to the four major aged care facilities in the area.

If you are wanting to obtain Pathology or Radiology test results, please speak to our reception staff. Our staff are able to provide you with your doctor’s comment, however, if you wish to discuss the result with your doctor, we advise you make an appointment.
